The academic offerings of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) are expanding with a new interdisciplinary program designed to train coordinators for sustainable transition. The new Bachelor of Science program will begin in September 2027. Enrollment for the bridge year will open on April 27 for those with a high school diploma.
Four graduates from the degree programmes in Management Engineering, Business Administration and Leisure Management were awarded for the attention they devoted to sustainability issues in their Bachelor’s theses and for the reflections they later presented both orally and in writing. The award, supported by BancaStato, reflects SUPSI’s ongoing commitment to integrating sustainability into its study programmes.
In collaboration with the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Training at SUPSI, the Park is creating new educational tools to promote the area. The first phase of the project has led to the creation of a handbook and a narrative podcast.
At its meeting on 24 February, the Council of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) decided to entrust the leadership of the DFA/ASP to the current Director of Basic Education. Daniela Willi-Piezzi will take up her post on 1 May 2026.
