For the past 13 years, Lucia Gallucci has been Head of the Mobility Service of the City of Bellinzona, after working for the Canton in the environmental sector from 1991 to 2012. She was born in Como and graduated from the Politecnico di Milano with a degree in Transport Engineering and Planning.
She has always been passionate about mountains and uncrowded open spaces, perhaps in contrast with her studies related to traffic. However, a real turning point came when she realised that travelling by bicycle, instead of by car, allowed her to go much further… and this is how she developed projects and studies for the City aimed at increasing urban cycling—and, consequently, the number of cyclists.

Anto Andrijanic, a nurse specialising in geriatrics and gerontology, tells us what it means to care for frail older people and how essential it is to specialise in order to ensure effective care for this type of patient, who requires attention, sensitivity and specific training. This is a commitment that should apply not only to those working strictly within the geriatric field, but to all professionals working in different contexts where the frailty of older people is nevertheless a constant presence.

After 12 years of teaching in primary school, Jennifer Baldinger began a CAS Professional Practice Teaching (DPP) course in 2022. She embarked on this path to gain greater awareness and structure in a role she already enjoyed with enthusiasm: welcoming students in training, getting to know them, accompanying them in their first steps and offering them a safe space in which to experiment. Having completed her training in 2025, she now accompanies DFA/ASP students in their professional practice.

Francesca Amaddeo è avvocato e dottore di ricerca in Diritto dell’Unione europea e ordinamenti nazionali. Dal 2018 lavora presso il Centro competenze tributarie e giuridiche della SUPSI, dove oggi ricopre il ruolo di docente-ricercatrice. Dal 1. Gennaio 2025 è capoprogetto dell’Interreg dall’acronimo CROCSIT, Cross-border rules on commuters between Switzerland and Italy. Si tratta di un Progetto Interreg, finanziato nell’ambito della I finestra del bando Interreg Italia-Svizzera 2021-2027, ed avrà la durata di 24 mesi, terminando il 31 dicembre di quest’anno.

Ethan, 20, studied scenery painting at the CSIA-Centro scolastico per le industrie artistiche in Lugano and is now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Conservation at SUPSI. What is his dream? To travel the world with the curious eye of someone who seeks beauty everywhere, and then to settle down in Canada. He is certain that his manual and artistic skills, coupled with his passion, will open the right doors for him in the world of art.
