For practitioners who are looking for a timely update and in-depth study of current topics in Swiss, European and international tax law, the CCT regularly organizes conferences and seminars that are offered in-person and/or online, via videoconferencing, and tend to be half-day in duration. Sometimes they are also offered in the evening or morning hours.
The speakers are experts and academics in the field, professionals, tax administration officials, and prominent public figures from the canton and the federal government. Seminar participants receive up-to-date and detailed documentation on the topic that also serves as support in their professional activities. Costs for continuing education courses are tax deductible if proven. For direct federal tax purposes, the maximum annual deductible amount is CHF 12’000, and for Ticino cantonal tax purposes CHF 10’000.
